I was out for a few days camping in the Anza-Borrego desert, checking out the wildflowers, native american
artifacts, and beautiful scenery ... all alone, (sigh).
Life and adventure are so much more fun and rewarding when you have someone to share with.
My plan is to retire this March, after 30 years as a Fireman, get a motorhome and travel the country
for awhile. No more sleeping on the ground, tent, back of the truck, camping trailer. No more roughing it. I like comfy beds,
hot showers, meals without grit, and (gasp!) satellite TV!!
I'm both simple and complex. I like order but I can be messy,
I just need every so often to stop and clean up the place.
I'm a physical person. I love touching and showing affection without worrying
about what other people are thinking. I would LOVE my woman to kiss me while walking through a parking lot. I want to know
that my partner cares about me. She'll KNOW that I care for and want her!
You know, we can talk about all the typical "Favorite things you like
to do ....... taking strolls on the beach at sunset, dancing, wine tasting, riding in a hot-air balloon, etc, etc,
etc". But I think the everyday things are just as, if not more, important. Things like a passionate kiss for no reason, being
touched, or getting something at the store for you just because I know it's your favorite, bringing each other something
to drink when we're working outside on a hot day, or snuggling together on the couch watching a movie....
I have two little girls, 10 and 11, who have just returned with their
mother from an 11 month "Care Bears Live!" tour, on the East Coast. They are living with Mom full-time at the moment about
45 mins away.
I like smooth jazz, blues, and classic rock. I can tolerate country
music but love bluegrass (weird???). I listen to XM Satellite radio "Bluegrass Junction" and "Bluesville"
all the time.
One of my goals is to run a marathon. I'd like to start training in
a few months.
I've been alone for more than a year and really miss companionship.
